These terms cover your use of Cropiris, operated by Infinity Curve. Using the app or the website means accepting them.
What Cropiris does
Cropiris measures crops from photographs and models what those measurements imply: how much water the root zone is short, what disease a leaf appears to have, and what to do next. It is a decision-support tool for people who already know their fields.
It is advice, and advice can be wrong.
The irrigation figure comes from a model of the soil, not a measurement of it. The disease identification is a classifier with a stated confidence, not a diagnosis by an agronomist. Both are shown with their working and their uncertainty so you can judge them.
Treat them as an input to your own judgement. We are not liable for crop loss, yield shortfall or costs arising from acting on them.
Accounts
- You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it.
- Accounts belong to an organisation. Whoever owns that organisation controls access to its farms and can grant or revoke it at any time.
- You may not share credentials. If you need someone else to have access, add them or issue a grant.
Credits
- One credit buys one disease identification. Measurements, the water balance and irrigation advice are not metered — a zero balance narrows what the app tells you, it does not stop it.
- New accounts receive ten credits at no charge.
- Credits are bought in packs, do not expire while the account is open, and have no cash value. They are not transferable between organisations.
- A credit is consumed when an identification is produced. It is not consumed twice for the same photograph, and it is returned if we take it and then fail to produce a result.
Refunds
If credits were charged in error, or the service failed to deliver what you paid for, write to [email protected] and we will refund them. Unused credits on an account you choose to close are not refunded, so ask before deleting rather than after.
Where you bought through Google Play or the App Store, their refund terms apply as well as ours.
Your data
Your photographs and farm records remain yours. We process them to run the service, as described in the privacy notice, and we may use a small proportion of reviewed imagery to improve the models — you can opt out of that without affecting the service.
You can delete everything at any time. See Delete your data.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload imagery you have no right to submit.
- Do not use Cropiris to build a competing dataset or model — that includes bulk automated capture for the purpose of extracting our classifications.
- Do not attempt to circumvent metering, or to access another organisation’s data.
Availability
We do not promise uninterrupted service. Captures taken while the app is offline are queued on the device and upload when a connection returns, so field work does not depend on ours being up — but analysis does, and it may be delayed.
Changes and ending
We may change these terms; material changes will be announced in the app rather than quietly published. You can stop using Cropiris and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches the acceptable-use section above.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Infinity Curve’s place of establishment. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
